Whew…I just finished working on this fun printable game for those on my Mailing List and couldn’t wait to share it with you!
This one took a lot of work to get everything just right.
I’m happy to say this printable met my “cuteness” criteria (come on…it’s a happy, plump bunny!), is ready to print out and went through the final test of being played with by actual real life kids (they loved it).
There are two versions of this printable. One is in color so you can just cut, create & play.
The other is a black & white version so you can color it in yourself. If you want to color it in yourself, I would use crayons or color pencils as markers tend to make printer ink smudge. Also, there is a lot to color so you could make this a multi-session activity depending on the child’s attention span. For example:
- At first sitting, just do the coloring.
- At second sitting, cut out the shapes, fold & glue the pocket.
- Third sitting, play!
2 Games in 1:
- Find the Chick-a-dee Game:
Lay out the eggs, hide the plump little chick-a-dee and have your child guess which egg he is hiding under.
My printout shows ways you can adjust the game depending on your child’s age.
- Matching Egg Game:
Print out pairs of eggs, cut them out, lay out upside down and try to find a matching pair.
When you are finished playing…you can store all the little eggs &
chick-a-dee(s) in the pocket the Bunny is holding. Cute!
Aside from offering free printables in my growing library for everyone…I also like to create special, exclusive ones for my mailing list subscribers as a “Thank you.” This Printable Easter Game printable is the exclusive one that I just sent to my subscribers.
